The gymnasium, where the art confectionery exhibit was being held, was the center of the event,
and around it were corporate exhibits and a corner where you could eat and drink, but photography was not allowed in these areas.
Here are my impressions of some of the exhibits where I was able to take photos.
Confectionery vendors at the venue, ”Sapporo Nogakko" College (cookie vendor) and "Tsuboya Sohonten" (dorayaki vendor) demonstrated their manufacturing processes.
The former demonstrated an automated manufacturing process from baking the cookies to inspecting them with X-rays for foreign objects and packaging,
while the latter demonstrated the traditional hand-made process by craftsmen.
It was interesting to see the different approaches taken.
This is a sales corner where sweets sold as souvenirs all over Japan are collected and can be purchased.
Because the main venue is small, the drive-in next door was used as a temporary store.
As you can see, there was a huge line, and you had to wait more than 60 minutes just to look at the items for sale.
