1月 愛媛縣護国神社 (Ehimeken Gokoku Jinjya)

松山市の中央部にある神社です。普段から参拝者の多い神社で、新年の初詣の時期には多くの人が行列を作っています。

This shrine is located in the center of Matsuyama City. This shrine is usually visited by many worshippers. During the New Year's first shrine visit of the year, even more people visit, forming long queues.

2月 愛媛マラソン (Ehime Malathon)

毎年2月に開催される恒例のマラソンです。中盤の北条バイパスが住宅地から離れた場所で道路が広いので絶好の観戦スポットです。

Matsuyama City hosts a large marathon every February. Located in the middle of the course, the Hojo Bypass is a wide road for cars located away from residential areas, making it ideal for spectators.

3月 伊予鉄松山市駅 (Matsuyama-shi station, Iyo tetsudo railway.)

この街では休日、観光客向けに 19 世紀の SL を再現した小型列車が走っていて、正直子供だましなものではあるのですが その子供だましの列車に乗って本物の街の本物の線路を走れるのですからテンション上がるに決まってるというものですよ。

On holidays, this town runs a small tourist train that is a replica of a 19th century steam locomotive.

It's nothing more than a toy-like, child's attraction, but you get to ride this child's train and travel on real tracks laid through a real town. It's bound to be fun.
